八月六日、広島市の平和記念公園で平和記念式典が行われます。今年は原爆から八十一年目です。式典は午前八時に始まり、午前八時五十分ごろ終わる予定です。午前八時十五分には、参列した人たちが一分間の黙とうをします。そのあと、広島市長が平和宣言を読みます。公園の中には約七千の席が用意されます。近くの広島国際会議場にも屋内の席が約二千二百あり、式典の様子が中継されます。公園は午前五時から午前九時まで入場が制限され、式典に参列する人は午前六時から入ることができます。入口では手荷物の検査があります。公園の周りでは交通規制が行われるので、電車やバスを使ったほうがいいです。夕方六時ごろからは、元安川でとうろう流しが行われます。八月の広島はとても暑いので、水分をよく取ってください。
