日本に住む外国人が持つ在留カードと、マイナンバーカードを一枚にまとめられる制度が、六月十四日に始まりました。新しいカードの名前は「特定在留カード」です。使えるのは、中長期在留者と特別永住者です。カードを一枚にするかどうかは自由で、今までのように二枚持っていても問題ありません。申し込みは、入管で在留の手続きをするときや、市区町村の役所で住所の届出をするときに、一緒にできます。オンラインの申請システムでは、当分の間できません。カードをもらうまでには、今までより時間がかかるので、早めに準備したほうがいいです。
